MORE Hospitality is currently seeking a full-time Catering Sales Manager. We are looking for an enthusiastic, outgoing, organized, and self-motivated professional to manage our catering department and grow our catering and events business. Applicants must have a passion for the hospitality industry, understand the importance of building relationships with clients, and work well in a team environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead the management of all catering orders
- Source new catering clients via online platforms and cold calling
- Increase revenue from existing clients
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop catering menus
- Oversee all private events either onsite, offsite or handing off and work collaboratively with a FOH Manager to execute
- Develop sales analytic tools
- Communicate with management regarding all catering and event needs and sales
- Coordinate with drivers and logistic team on execution of all catering deliveries
- Conduct all administrative and clerical duties related to MORE catering sales
- Generate sales by pursuing new business through outside client visits, developing new marketing material, attending networking events, and providing great customer service.
- Assist in all aspects of event operations, such as party rentals, licensing, staffing, etc.
- Meet and greet clients at events and serve as the point of contact.
- Respond to event inquiries in a timely manner with accurate
- knowledge of menus, pricing, and information.
- Draft up banquet event orders, contracts, and invoices.

Required Skills:

- Prior experience in event planning or a related field is preferred.
- Valid driver's license.

- Regular attendance including the ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays and weekends
Preferred Experience:
- Three years previous catering sales experience or previous banquet and event experience or previous high-volume food and beverage operations experience
- Experience in on and off site catering menu design
- Previous experience in a leadership or management role
- Proficient in English and Spanish.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
