Senior Machine Learning Operations Engineer (Targeting P3 Grade)
NewYork-Presbyterian is among the national leaders in translating advances in machine learning and artificial intelligence into clinical practice and patient care. We seek a talented and experienced MLOps engineer to join the team at the heart of that effort – owning and operating the production ML lifecycle at the interface of clinical / operation systems.

Technical Skills and Qualifications

Bachelors or Masters (preferred) degree in a relevant technical discipline, such as computer science, data science, engineering, or informatics.

3+ years working in a production ML environment; experience working with healthcare data is ideal.

Broad knowledge and experience with all aspect of data science concepts, including data processing and machine learning workflows.

Proficiency with machine learning-relevant programming languages (eg, Python)

Experience with machine learning frameworks.

Experience deploying machine learning models in a cloud environment.

Experience with containerization (eg Docker) and orchestration (eg Kubernetes) tools.

Experience with APIs; experience with FHIR is ideal.

Experience setting up operations and pipelines for new and existing projects and familiarity with version control, CI/CD tooling, monitoring tools, model monitor tools, and associated process automation.

Experience with NLP/Generative AI

Familiar with complex Data Lakehouse and data management tools, standards, and techniques that support various modes of data ingestion and curation.
