JOB SUMMARY:
The CRANIAL CAD MODIFIER reads and interprets work orders to provide correction for asymmetric and/or disproportional pediatric head shapes using CAD software specific to the orthopedic industry. Software and procedural training will be provided.
- Shift: M-F 6:00am-2:30pm, occasional weekends
- Pay: $16.00 per hour
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Knowledge of CAD/CAM software on any of the popular tools such as but not limited to AutoCAD, Meshmixer, Meshlab, and Blender
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Understanding of symmetry, geometry, 2D/3D planes, measurements, and basic human anatomy
- Strong artistic background
- Exceptional communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Perform 3D modeling utilizing proprietary software, techniques, and procedures
- Utilize in-house Visual Workplace to record and track daily work orders
- Utilize the in-house Visual Workplace (Labor Tracking system) to report & track orders progress.
- Ensure the quality of the product by verifying the CAD modification complies with the order specifications.
- Identify special requirements or expedite orders throughout the day to meet the specified completion schedule and/or shipment.
- Overtime will be provided as needed depending on the department load and modifier availability with the possibility of remote work during weekdays/weekends.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with the in-house safety policies.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Follow up and expedite the special requirements or expedite orders throughout the day to meet the specified completion schedule and/or shipment.
- May be cross trained in other production areas to help out, as needed.
- May perform additional duties, as assigned.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma.
- Hands skills.
- Basic knowledge of human anatomy and clinical terminology.
- Basic data entry and basic computer/PC operational skills.
- Structured, well organized and able to work within a team environment.
- Self-starter, positive aptitude.
