Are you a craftsman who can run a crew (or business) and enjoys the hands on construction more than the administration?
Check out this team of dudes (and women) who work on renovations (high-spec and minor) for a wide range of clients in the twin ports area. J&RS is a start to finish Design + Build remodeling company with a showroom and multiple specialized in-house crews. Our Supervisors are master builders who take a dream, scope, crew, materials, and subs to execute on picture worthy building projects. Carpentry supervisors are the GC's of the company, they run the show on their projects. We have in house concrete, taping/painting, plumbing, and HVAC crews that act as subs to the larger jobs. We at J&RS believe every project should have world class project management, and invest heavily in proper prior planning. We like to think it's running your own show, with out the paperwork.

Qualifications
- 3+ years experience required (and not a hypothetical 3 years. We will want to see a portfolio or pics)
- Familiarity with hand-held tools and equipment
- Must have a learning mentality. A Master Builder is always looking to the next horizon of work
- COMMUNICATOR. A master builder has to be willing to communicate pleasantly with clients. No communication is communication, and we have found lack of communication to be project owner's main frustration.
- Be motivated by accomplishment. We pay market rates as a base wage, plus with a little pepper in your step coupled with proper prior planning, you can put more lettuce in your pocket through our Incentive program.
- Must be scrappy. Construction is construction and while we work hard to plan for problems, there is a time when a master builder needs to be flexible and problem solve through a situation.
Note: The above qualifications are desired, but not mandatory. We can train as needed, as long as the will to learn is there.
