Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our Kitchen operations, ensuring the highest quality of food production and service. This is a leadership role that requires strong management skills, culinary expertise, and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences.
Duties:
- Lead and manage a team of culinary professionals, including cooks, and kitchen staff
- Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Kitchen including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance of the team.
- Develop and execute creative menus that reflect our culinary vision and meet the needs of our guests
- Oversee food production, ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, and quality
- Manage inventory control to minimize waste and maintain cost efficiency
- Collaborate with golf team to create a positive dining experience for club members and guests
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
- Train and mentor staff on culinary techniques, food safety, and proper kitchen procedures
- Monitor and maintain kitchen equipment to ensure optimal performance
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a club of fine dining restaurant setting
- Strong culinary background with expertise in food production, menu development, and kitchen operations
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Proficient in inventory control and cost management
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with staff and management
