Position Summary
The Data Reporting Analyst will be trained to retrieve customer specific data from Metron software tools, format the results in a client preferred format and then deliver reports to the client. The position involves substantial customer service communication by email and phone.
The Data Reporting Analyst should be customer-focused, self-motivated, independent, and responsive to changing situations. They should have strong attention to detail as well as the desire to help solve problems. Interest and curiosity in technology and learning new skills are a must.
Position Responsibilities:
· Report Generation: Use Metron proprietary software to retrieve client billing information to create spreadsheets and tenant invoices for clients according to their needs.
· Multiple Stakeholder Interaction: Efficiently convey complex rates and formulas while making inquiries to water municipalities and working on behalf of our customers
· Customer Interaction: Engage with customers through multiple channels, including phone, email, and Teams online meetings, to understand customer needs and answer product questions.
· Issue Resolution: Handle incoming emails and phone calls providing clear and correct responses. Keen ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
· Technical Acumen: Possess a genuine interest in learning technical concepts and becoming a product expert with Metron products.
· Advocacy: Act as an advocate for our customers by sharing feedback and issues to the Operations Manager and Leadership with the goal of improving the overall experience our customers have with Metron.
· Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation of troubleshooting processes, solutions to common problems, and any other reports needed to understand customer data. Process Improvement: Collect and analyze customer feedback to identify patterns and issues to help improve overall service.
· Escalation Management: Efficiently determine when an issue needs to be escalated to the next level of support and ensure proper handoff and communication to customers.
Candidate Requirements
- Familiar with databases and how they are structured
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills: formulas and functions, lookups, pivot tables and graphs, sorting and filtering data
- 2 years of experience in customer service or related field
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with others in a team environment.
- Technical aptitude and willingness to learn and excel with Metron.
- Detail oriented and able to manage multiple high priority tickets simultaneously.
- Strong business acumen in interacting with Metron customers.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Dedicated to finding new and better ways to improve the customer experience and drive customer excellence across the organization.

This is a full-time on-site position. Pay range is $50K to $60K based on experience. Metron provides Health Insurance, matching 401K saving plan, catered lunches and a pet friendly environment.
