Assistant Property Manager
Position Overview: The Assistant Property Manager will work alongside the Senior Property Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of retail and other commercial properties. They will ensure that all tenants are in compliance with their lease agreements, assess and process maintenance and repair requests, and take other necessary actions to protect the property's value and maintain a safe and comfortable environment for all.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage tenant relationships and ensure compliance with lease agreements including rent collection, rent renewals and late fees.

Process maintenance and repair requests in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Assist with tenant move-in and move-out inspections.

Prepare financial reports and budgets related to property management.

Act as a liaison between tenants, property owners, vendors and contractors.

Maintain and update all tenant records and other documents related to property management.

Enforce safety regulations and ensure the security of the property.
Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in real estate, business, management or related field.

NVRE license and Property Management certificate or ability to get them fairly quickly.

2+ years of experience in property management, preferably in retail.

Knowledge of office buildings, retail properties and related laws.

Strong administrative and organizational skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to multitask and work independently with minimal supervision.

Nice to have: experience as a Property Coordinator or similar role.
