Compensation:
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources, healthcare administration, or a related field.
- Master’s degree in business administration, human resources.
Required Work Experience:
- Required: At least 5 (five) years of recent HR manager experience.
- Required: At least 5 (five) years working in a healthcare setting.
License and Certifications:
- Required: HR Certification from reputable agencies such as SHRM and HRCI.
Role:
- The Human Resources (HR) Administrator role at Spectrum Medical Care Center (SMCC) is of utmost importance as it directly reports to the CEO. This position oversees the human resources department and supports the health center's operations. The HR Administrator's primary responsibility is to ensure that all people-related initiatives align with the organization's goals, including recruitment, staffing, training and development, performance monitoring, employee counseling, medical staff services, and credentialing. They must drive initiatives that foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture, a key and inspiring aspect of our organization. SMCC serves the LGBTQ+ Community, and our HR Administrator must have a profound understanding of equity and inclusive HR best practices. The role requires high confidentiality, discretion, and independent judgment while operating with minimal supervision, making a significant impact on our organization's values and success.
Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Staffing
- Lead recruitment processes in compliance with Arizona State Personnel System (SPS) Personnel Rules and federal/state laws.
- Oversee the development and revision of position descriptions to ensure compliance with all regulations.
- Assess classification and grade assignments.
- Conduct thorough salary analyses and provide informed recommendations on salary-related actions.
- Implement effective employee retention strategies.
Classification and Compensation
- Ensure adherence to SPS Personnel Rules and ADOA statewide policies.
- Develop and maintain a compensation strategy based on market research and pay surveys.
- Conduct research to identify and recommend solutions for complex compensation issues.
- Compile reports on various HR topics and present insightful information to SMCC leadership.
Operational Duties
- Maintain company organizational charts and employee directory.
- Partner with management to align strategic HR goals with business initiatives.
- Manage employee benefits, negotiating comprehensive packages for SMCC personnel.
- Investigate and resolve employee issues and conflicts.
- Ensure organizational compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Utilize performance management tools to provide guidance and feedback.
- Develop and maintain required HR policies and procedures.
- Ensure consistent application of company HR policies.
- Maintain and lead updates of HR systems.
- Oversee Annual Performance and Salary reviews.
- Provide training, support, and guidance to HR staff.
Training and Development
- Create training materials and performance management reports.
- Facilitate HR-related training for agency management and staff.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Experience with HRIS.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
