Job Description:
Lane Park is seeking an experienced and dynamic Chef to oversee our culinary operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in kitchen management, catering program oversight, and a deep understanding of labor and food costing. This role is critical to ensuring that our guests enjoy high-quality meals in a timely and efficient manner while participating in our interactive entertainment offerings.
Responsibilities:
- Culinary Operations: Manage all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure the highest quality standards.
- Catering Program Oversight: Develop and execute catering menus for various events, ensuring that food is prepared and presented in line with Lane Park’s standards.
- Labor and Food Costing: Monitor and manage labor costs and food expenses to achieve budgetary goals while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and supervise kitchen staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Inventory Management: Oversee inventory control, including ordering, receiving, and managing stock levels to minimize waste and ensure freshness.
- Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure that all kitchen operations comply with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Menu Development: Collaborate with the management team to create and update menus that reflect current trends and customer preferences.
- Customer Satisfaction: Address and resolve any customer concerns or complaints related to food quality and service.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-volume restaurant or catering environment.
- Extensive knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
- Strong understanding of labor and food costing principles.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
