Position Description:
Reporting to the AM Warehouse Supervisor, this position is responsible for but not limited to, picking and organizing kegs by delivery route to be loaded on trucks before the end of the shift. In addition, this position will maintain the customer pick up area, and perform general warehouse labor duties as needed. This position is expected to perform all duties within the objectives, standards, mission and policies of Doll Distributing LLC; State of Iowa laws and regulations governing the beer industry; and brewery/supplier requirements.
Essential Functions:

Accurately select and build customer and special event keg orders

Organize and clean the keg room so that kegs are easily identifiable

Performs general warehouse labor such as, but not limited to; picking cases, building/checking/loading pallets onto delivery trucks

Must know and comply with Anheuser-Busch and other suppliers product freshness and rotation policies

Completes the proper paperwork and turns into Inventory Control

Ensures that all products are properly stacked and rotated when returning repacks to inventory

Maintain customer pick up area

Load and unload customer vehicles

Select orders as needed

Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment

Represents the company in a professional and courteous manner

Essential Skills and Knowledge:

Excellent written and oral English communication skills

Basic computer skills (including Microsoft Outlook)

Basic mathematical aptitude skills

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Excellent time management skills; ability to prioritize work functions

Ability to obtain certification in forklift and pallet jack operations
- Ability to work with a diverse group of people and customers
Qualifications:
-
18 years of age or older
-
High School or GED (General Education Diploma) required.

Previous warehouse experience is preferred
Working Conditions:

Temperature/Climate
-
This position will spend the majority of its time in 40 degree temperature and part-time in 60-68 degree temperature controlled environment.

Safety Considerations
- This position handles heavy keg orders daily in cold environment; must dress appropriately and use proper lifting techniques.

This position will routinely drive forklift trucks, pallet-jacks, and other cleaning equipment.

Personal Protective Equipment necessary

Steel-toed boots/shoes with skid-proof soles are required

Physical/Mental Organizational Capabilities

The individual in this role must possess the ability to walk, stand, sit, bend, and climb stairs on a frequent basis. Must have the ability to safely lift a minimum of 24 lbs. without assistance, waist level, waist to should level, shoulder level to overhead. Must have ability to push/pull/lift a maximum of 165 lbs. with appropriate equipment. Requires significant demands on these physical requirements through entire work shift with tasks performed in all weather conditions. The ability to pay attention to detail, problem solve, troubleshoot, and make decisions is required.
