Farm Share administers a combination of USDA commodity programs and produce recovery operations from a packinghouse located in Homestead, Florida - the heart of Miami-Dade County's farming area.

Job Description
Reporting to the Facility Manager, the CSFP Commodities Manager is responsible for a variety of critical responsibilities and functions related to Farm Share’s operations. The CSFP Commodities Manager’s primary responsibility is maintaining Farm Share’s compliance with the USDA and Florida Department of Agriculture’s CSFP Commodities receiving, storage and distribution regulations. The CSFP Commodities Agent performs the following functions:
Job responsibilities to include but not limited to:
· Ensure all agencies are educated on proper federal, state, and organizational procedures & paperwork compliance.
· Performs annual physical inspections of all agencies to confirm compliance with rules and regulations.
· Ensures organizational compliance with CSFP rules and regulations.
· Manages the distribution (pick-up and delivery) of CSFP Commodities
· Maintains detailed records and organized files on all agencies participating in Farm Share’s CSFP program.
· Develops new participating agencies and food distribution supply chains.
· Accurately keeps track of Farm Share’s CSFP Commodity inventory to account for product received and distributed.
· Generates monthly reports that are reviewed by Facility Manager and COO.
. Reports will also need to be reviewed by the Compliance Officer and the Program Director for submission to FDACS.
Minimum Attributes
· Applicant must have strong computer skills with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook. Must have at least basic knowledge of Microsoft Access.
· Applicant must be able to communicate effectively and clearly, both orally and in writing.
· Applicant should also have problem solving skills and be able to engage in conflict resolution when needed.
· Applicant must be able to follow directions and work collaboratively with management and his/her fellow employees.
· Applicant should be detail oriented and be able to manage multiple tasks at once.
· Applicant must be able to enforce established rules and regulations firmly but also diplomatically.
· Applicant should be able to successfully manage high stress situations and be able to meet tight deadlines.
· Applicant must be able to foster, and work within, a dedicated team environment.
