Job Summary:
As a Technical Program Manager (TPM) at MiTAC Computing Corporation, you will oversee the development and delivery of cutting-edge datacenter server solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, operations, and sales, to ensure the successful execution of programs from concept through deployment. Your role is crucial in driving innovation, maintaining schedules, managing risks, and delivering high-quality server products that meet customer and market demands.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Management:
- Lead multiple, complex server development programs simultaneously.
- Develop and manage program timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and on-time delivery of projects.
- Identify, mitigate, and manage risks throughout the program lifecycle.
Technical Leadership:
- Provide technical guidance and direction to engineering teams.
- Ensure technical requirements are clearly defined, documented, and met.
- Collaborate with architects and engineers to develop scalable and reliable server solutions.
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate best practices into program execution.
Stakeholder Communication:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for program-related communication.
- Facilitate regular status meetings and reports for stakeholders.
- Present program progress, challenges, and solutions to executive leadership.
- Foster strong relationships with internal teams, customers, and partners.
Process Improvement:
- Evaluate and enhance program management processes and tools.
- Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Drive lessons learned and post-mortem activities to improve future programs.
Resource Management:
- Allocate resources effectively to meet program objectives.
- Collaborate with related departments to address staffing needs.
- Mentor and guide team members to enhance their professional development.
Quality Assurance:
- Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and customer expectations.
- Coordinate with QA teams to develop comprehensive testing strategies.
- Address and resolve any quality issues promptly.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in technical program management, preferably in the datacenter or server manufacturing industry
- Proven track record of managing complex hardware and software development programs.
Knowledge and skills:
- Strong understanding of datacenter technologies, server hardware, and system architecture.
- Excellent project management skills, proficiency in project management tools.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Multi-language skills is highly desirable.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
