OPPORTUNITY:
PsyPhyCare, a division of Business Staffing of America, Inc., is seeking to contract with a ) Level II Registered Nurse (RN) for a Federally supported client in Charleston, South Carolina 29403
BACKGROUND:
This position requires Occupational Health Registered Nursing Services for the US Army Corps of Engineers, South Atlantic Division (SAD), Regional Occupational Health Center (ROHC). Registered nurses will support routine staffing needs, temporary workload increases, new missions, reorganizations, short-term and part-time requirements, and workload fluctuations. Nursing services will be provided to federal employees of participating agencies.
DESCRIPTION:
- As a Nurse (Occupational Health) you will: Provide direct support for the development, implementation, and administration of the District’s Occupational Health Program.
- Coordinate medical support services as related to all Occupational Health Program requirements.
- Refer employees for follow up with their personal health care providers.
- Provides a comprehensive Occupational Health Nursing Program to promote the occupational health, efficiency and well-being of civilian employee personnel .
- Implement a comprehensive Occupational Health Nursing Program to promote occupational health and well-being of civilian personnel.
- Secure and maintains employee occupational health medical records in compliance with Privacy Act and HIPAA.
PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: 69A Hagood Ave, Health Clinic 3rd Floor, Charleston, South Carolina.
WORK HOURS: This position could be full-time or part-time. The hours are flexible.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduate from an approved nursing program.
- Passed the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN).
- Experience in occupational health nursing or related fields preferred.
- Ability to work independently and manage occupational health programs.
- Proficiency in administering emergency care and clinical services.
- Strong organizational, communication, and computer skills.
