Data Metalcraft is seeking a self-motivated Quality Manager to help ensure our products meet customer requirements. As a Quality Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products and processes meet the highest quality standards. You will oversee all aspects of quality control, quality assurance, and quality management systems to ensure compliance with industry regulations and customer requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure our product compliance with plant quality systems and customer requirements.
- Administer and Track employee quality and safety training
- Lead and manage a small team of shop floor inspectors
- PPAP and 1st Article documentation
- Develop qualification criteria for new products.
- Address customer concerns and supplier quality issues including developing corrective actions
- Maintain appropriate logs that support quality metrics.
- Develop / analyze statistical data and product specifications.
- Maintain and improve the quality system within the plant.
Quality Controls
- Document quality control processes, control process revisions, and upkeep documentation to support operations.
- Develop and implement quality management systems and processes to ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations & product specifications.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to assess product quality and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain to lead root cause analysis and corrective action processes to address quality issues and prevent recurrence and optimize processes.
- Collaborate with production to develop and deliver quality training programs for employees to ensure understanding of quality standards and procedures.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track quality metrics and drive performance improvements.
- Stay current on industry trends, developments, and best practices in quality management.
- Head up our ISO 9001 certification process.
Project Implementation
- Work with the end customer and internal teams to implement large scale fabrication and welding programs through prototyping, set up, and production scale
- Understand customer needs and work cross-functionally to develop new processes, work centers, and tools to meet demand
- Cooperate with engineering to ensure that complex customer expectations are understood and exceeded
- Collaborate with customers on engineering and DFM ideas to improve parts and processes
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Industrial Technology, or equivalent
- 4+ Years of Quality experience
- Ability to read and interpret prints and basic measuring devices
- Experience leading and managing a team
- ISO 9001: 1 year (Preferred)
- Quality Assurance: 1 year (Preferred)
- Able to understand manufacturing operations and how they work together
- Demonstrated ability to develop followership among colleagues and clients
- Able to work independently and as a team player in coordinating and driving quality processes
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Energetic self-starter who can gather team collaboration for large scale programs
- Effective time management and organization skills
- Membership and participation in business / community associations
- FARO Arm programming a plus

Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
