SUMMARY
This position will be responsible for a number of daily/weekly/monthly HEADUSA Logistics functions including inbound shipment tracking, inventory reporting, freight invoice analysis, product master record maintenance, other duties as assigned by the Senior Finance and Logistics Manager.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
- Maintain Advanced Shipping Notices (ASNs). Monitor shipments to ensure product is delivered as planned, including running weekly past-due PO reports and adjusting anticipated arrival dates.
- Review, log and approved US Customs Entry Summaries and work with Freight Forwarders to resolve any issues.
- Analyze Essbase Key Account sales forecasting worksheets and review with Senior Logistic Analyst and Senior Logistics Manager.
- Maintain Inventory In-transit Reports.
- Create and distribute monthly inventory and Free-of-Charge goods shipments reports.
- Review in-bound freight invoices and submit to Distribution Managers for approvals.
- Maintain and distribute weekly Factory-Direct container tracking reports as needed
- Review forecasts with Sales Analyst and Logistics Managers to place Purchase Orders as needed.
- Provide cross-Division Support as needed.
- Other duties as assigned by Senior Finance and Logistics Manager and Racquet Sports Logistics Manager.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
The following education or equivalent is required in order to assure satisfactory performance on the job. Bachelor’s Degree in either Finance or Supply Chain related field.
1-3 years Inventory Management experience. 1-3 years SAP or similar ERP system experience preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word. Previous experience with Oracle (Smartview) is a plus. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze and interpret business data, technical procedures, and government regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, colleagues, vendors and customers.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
COMPUTER OPERATIONS
Proficient personal computer skills including SAP, Essbase database activity, word processing and Excel spreadsheets.
