We have an immediate opening in our Los Angles sales territory. This territory will be supported from our Irvine CA office. While sales experience is preferred we are willing to train someone with the right background or attitude. JH Technologies services its customers by using a high value added, consultative sales process. With an extensive array of products from our world class suppliers JH Technologies Sales Engineers provide solutions that range from the nano to the macro, from SEM to stereo inspection microscopes and the sample preparation tools that samples require. JH Technologies Sales Engineers , and our customers, are supported by teams of Product Managers, ApplicationEngineers, Field/Customer Service team and a complete Analytical Lab.
As a Sales Engineer your primary responsibility will be the sale of products and services. We utilize the Salesforce CRM platform to ensure that customer interactions are inline with our expectations. You will be expected to meet territory sales quotas while providing market and product feedback to the management team.
After successfully onboarding you can expect that application and product training will be an ongoing activity. This is a territory position but there will be some overnight travel in the territory as well as travel to trainings and meetings.
Qualification:
- Relevant Sales Experience in capital equipment outside of our industry or;
- An associate degree, or more, in Material Science or Mechanical Engineering or other Engineering discipline.
- A basic understanding of what material characterization is and why it is essential.
- Fundamental Sales experience/knowledge is preferred.
- Highly committed and able to work under pressure.
A basic understanding of metrology methods and equipment, SEM- Scanning Electron Microscope, Optical Microscopy and sample preparation experience is a plus.

Pay: $110,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
