What you will be doing….
- Planning and organizing: Warehouse management is responsible for developing and implementing operational plans and strategies that ensure the efficient and effective use of warehouse resources, including staff, equipment, and space.
- Staff management: Warehouse management is responsible for hiring, training, and managing warehouse staff to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Inventory management: Warehouse management is responsible for ensuring that accurate inventory records are maintained, and that inventory is managed in a way that minimizes losses and ensures timely delivery to customers.
- Equipment management: Warehouse management is responsible for ensuring that warehouse equipment is properly maintained and serviced, and that it is used in a safe and effective manner.
- Quality control: Warehouse management is responsible for ensuring that all goods received and shipped meet the quality standards set by the company and its customers.
- Health and safety: Warehouse management is responsible for ensuring that the warehouse is operated in a safe and healthy manner, in compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Customer service: Warehouse management is responsible for ensuring that all customer requests and orders are handled promptly and accurately, and that customer complaints are addressed in a timely and professional manner.
- Compliance: Warehouse management is responsible for ensuring that all warehouse operations comply with relevant regulations and standards, including those related to safety, security, and environmental protection.
- By fulfilling these roles and responsibilities, warehouse management plays a crucial role in ensuring the success of our operations, and in delivering high-quality service to customers.
How you will be successful….
- 2+ years of experience in warehouse operations
- Knowledge of FTZ bonded warehouse procedures
- Across the board understanding of the Shipping Industry
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledgeable of WMS - Extensiv
- Aptitude, creativity, and a preference for working in small, collaborative teams
- Passion for problem solving and providing excellent customer service
