Core Government Services is immediately hiring role players to serve as "Civilians on the Battlefield (COB)" for Army National Guard training at Camp Ripley.
Civilians on the Battlefield (COBs) provide important roles during military training exercises. The COBs act or role play which creates realistic human encounters for our soldiers.
Key responsibilities:
- Act as a Role Player (Civilian on the Battlefield) following a scripted pattern of life activities to provide realism for soldiers
- Be able to work outdoors within a military training area
- Be in good health to endure the heat and various environmental conditions.
- Follow safety measures at all times
- Follow provided scripts to enhance the realism in scenarios
- Ability to remain on site for the duration of the scenario or "training lane"
Pay: Earn over $22 per hour while supporting military training at Camp Ripley from 22 - 29 July. We provide weekly pay to our seasonal employees.
Requirements:
- Pass a background check with no felony convictions or arrest warrants
- Have a valid Driver's License and be able to commute daily
- Ability to safely lift equipment weighing more than 50 lbs.
- Able to work in an outdoor environment using military tents and portable restrooms
Education: N/A
Experience:
- This is an entry level position which does not have mandatory training requirements.
- Military experience is a plus
Working Conditions: Outdoor training areas, replicated villages, etc.
