Hours: 8:00am-5:00pm Mon-Fri. Limited hybrid scheduling options could be possible once established once fully operational.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:*
- Provides oversight, guidance and training to the Inside Sales Group which includes Applications Engineers, Product Specialists, and Sales Administrators.
- Reviews Sales to Engineering Requests (SER) and Engineering to Sales Responses (ESR) for accuracy, completeness, effectiveness in meeting technical requirements and cost control.
- Assures staffing levels are appropriate to meet customer needs.
- Reviews and completes supplier forms for new customers and assists with submitting bids in customer portals when required.
- Provides feedback to the Production Team when ship dates need to be improved; assists in determining which orders become critical; and monitors order status. Tracks early and late shipments when production schedule dates change. Updates SOs and communicates new dates and order status to field sales and customers.
- Participates in meetings with Production regarding job scheduling and tracking.
- Tracks and reports on Bookings, Quote Activity, and Global Customer interaction.
- Interfaces with Customers, Sales Representatives and Regional Sales Managers to assure that communication is clear, concise, accurate and proactive.
- Focuses on Continuous Improvement of quoting tools and order entry processes to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Supports the Inside Sales Team by prioritizing work, breaking down barriers, and freeing up resources to keep quote requests on track for timely completion.
- Establishes and monitors individual and department goals and KPI’s.
- Identifies necessary knowledge, skills, tools and training. Mentors, guides and assists direct reports. Provides continuous feedback. Maintains training records.
- Hosts visiting customers to support Sales efforts as necessary.
- Maintains awareness of customer satisfaction, strengthens relationships across the company and looks to add value in all processes.
- Interacts and cooperates with other departments to meet and exceed customer expectations and sales goals.
- Maintains and improves Policies, Procedures, and Compliance to ISO Standards as they relate to the Inside Sales Department.
- Approves time off requests and weekly payroll/time cards.
- Participates in interview and disciplinary processes.
- Evaluates staff performance, administers compensation adjustments and regularly meets with employees to maintain a common understanding of expectations.
- Attends trade shows and assigns team members to support shows as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a Science, or Technology required. Degree in Engineering strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years in a Leadership position required.
- Background and experience in customer relations and diverse experience in a manufacturing environment required.
- Product and/or Systems Design experience preferred.
- Sales Management experience with a positive record of meeting goals preferred.
- Strong technical capability with mechanical, electrical, and controls systems including refrigeration preferred.
- Experience with manufacturing and sales of environmental chambers, and experience with operation of environmental chambers in a production or lab setting preferred.
Pay: $114,337.00 - $137,196.00 per year
