Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Front Desk Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in dental office settings and possess strong administrative skills.
Duties:
- Sending out for billing for PPO and Medi-cal
- Manage patient appointments and schedules using Open Dental software
- Handle phone calls, emails, and inquiries promptly and efficiently
- Maintain knowledge of dental terminology to communicate effectively with staff
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations in all front desk activities
- Utilize Epic or other electronic health record systems for patient management
- Oversee front desk operations and coordinate with other departments for smooth work flow
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar front desk role
- Proficiency in practice management software
- Knowledge of dental terminology
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and compliance standards
- Strong communication skills for interacting with patients and staff
- Ability to operate phone systems and other office equipment efficiently
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Experience in billing for PPO and Medi-cal
- Prior administrative experience is a plus
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 33 – 40 per week
