FLSA STATUS: Regular Full-Time Exempt
SUMMARY: SABG is hiring an Asset Management Analyst Advanced to support Missile Defense Agency with Missile Defense System (MDS) programmatic, technical, integration, fielding, and operational efforts, including deployment, site activation, operations, and operational sustainment and readiness issues and initiative. The effort supports the Grand Based Midcourse Defense Directorate (GM), Deployed Systems Readiness (GMW) Division. The position supports the MDS Asset Management process defined by U.S. Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM).
SALARY: $100,000-$125,000

Ideal candidates will:
- Execute the MDS asset management process; review and publish daily Weekly Activity Message (WAM) updates, review and approve Event Objective Worksheets (EOW) and Schedule Change Requests (SCR).
- Identify and recommend requirements for tailoring applications supporting Homeland, Global, and Theater/Regional MDS
- Maintain, update, and conduct training for the global asset management community
- Coordinate with MDA Elements and Combatant Command (CCMD) representatives to produce an accurate schedule
- Develop weekly significant event reports for inclusion in the MDS Daily Briefing
- Support the scheduling, de-confliction, and execution of major software installations, system upgrades, asset cut overs and technical additions to the operational capacity baseline
- Provide action officer support to GMW for internal Agency taskers and other operational requirements
- Participate in the Asset Management process for assets located in the Alaska Region of operations.
- Coordinate and de-conflict directly with PME and Facility contractors in the maintenance scheduling for the sustainment and readiness of GM operational assets within Alaska to maximize the GMD Weapon System's operational availability.
- Schedule, coordinate, and de-conflict all Facility Maintenance and Military Construction (MILCON) projects on the Missile Defense Complex.
- Experience working with and across executive staffs, joint staffs, commands, agencies and the services.
- Oversee the planning, and monitor execution, of MILCON projects as they relate to and impact the operational readiness of the Weapons System.
- Monitor execution of work that impacts the Weapons System and provide Leadership real-time analysis of readiness information
- Work with stakeholders (PRIME/Facility contractors, Communications Contracts, USACE, 49th Missile Defense Battalion, and sub-contractors) in producing an Annual Maintenance Plan, and subsequent Operations Schedule and Weekly Execution documents.
- Facilitate Table Top Review Exercises, Readiness Reviews, and develop EXSUMS in accordance with the GM Fielding Process.
- Briefing GMD Leadership and NORTHCOM Command on upcoming mission-impacting projects.
- Support overall participation and contribution to GM program-wide integration and scheduling of site activities to include de-confliction of external activities that impact GMD Weapons System operations.
- Maintain situational awareness on test support, development, and operational activities to maximize readiness, logistics, and sustainment of military operational assets and capabilities.
- Provide strategic high-level coordination and direct planning support for GM Asset Manager to ensure the integration and fielding of GMD developmental and operational activities for the complex GMD Weapon System deployed in Alaska.
- Attend training programs such as security, safety, cyber-security awareness, and anti-terrorism.
- Prepare weekly schedule files, reports, and metrics for review to support Asset Management meetings.
- Provide operational document development.
- Interface with Cyber Security Manager on work requests, and understand cyber-security impacts on operations.
- Petition Asset Management community for approval on scheduled and un-scheduled maintenance requests on GMD assets.
- Analyze scheduling products for accuracy, comprehensiveness, timelines, and de-confliction (problem solving).
- Analyzing, assessing, or managing a missile defense program (e.g. planning, scheduling, maintenance and configuration of missile resources, developing or implementing asset management) in support of warfighting effectiveness.
SUPERVISION: This position has supervisory responsibilities
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s degree and 6+ years’ operational experience in the missile defense industry. Additionally, experience must include: military operational concepts/capabilities; integration and fielding of complex weapon systems; conducting strategic high-level coordination activities; deliberate planning; test support; logistics and sustainment; high-level policy development; requirements and operational document development; cyber-security impacts on operations; problem solving; working independently and leading teams.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Master’s Degree or higher
- 6+ years’ experience must be in the missile defense industry
- 10+ years’ operational experience in ground-based weapon systems analysis (or 15+ years with a Bachelor’s degree)
- Must be able to work independently, analyze written and oral instructions regarding planned and unscheduled maintenance events, and assess impacts of these events on MDS mission readiness
- Must be a self-starter, detail oriented, able to support multiple projects, possess excellent communication skills, work well within a team, interact with multiple levels of management, and be able to manage customer and contractor relationships
- Ability to organize and prioritize work
- Possess exceptionally strong writing skills
COMPUTER SKILLS:
- Skilled in operating a personal computer and standard office equipment
- Must have proficiency in a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, and database (MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
