The Critical Care Manager will lead Day Shift Nursing operations over an expansive 50-bed ICU Department. This includes a 12-bed Neuro ICU, 12-bed Telemetry Stepdown/PCU, and a 26-bed Medical/Surgical Intensive Care floor.
Reporting to the Administrative Director of Intensive Care, the Nursing Manager will play an integral role in the operations of the Critical Care Unit. Supporting the Nursing Manager are two strong CCRN ICU Assistant Nurse Managers and an amazing team of CCU/PCU Charge Nurses and Staff Nurses.
The Nursing Manager of Critical Care will have the opportunity to make significant impacts on Nursing Operations, Patient Care, and the hospital-wide quality improvement. This person will work with educators and inpatient leaders to help develop and codify standards and practices that keep this Magnet nursing program at the forefront of the medical field. In addition to supporting clinical patient care improvement, you’ll also be able to participate on committees for employee experience, patient satisfaction, and quality improvement.
