General Responsibility*: Manages the safe, efficient, and accurate operation of areas of responsibility. Establishing, controlling, monitoring, communicating, and resolving challenges associated with inventory at all levels for the pump division. Directly responsible for activities and personnel relative to stockroom functions, receiving, storage, stocking, picking, shipping, logistics, cycle counting, and computerized inventory control system.
Specific Responsibilities and Authorities include, but are not limited to:
- Develop, implement, and improve systems to achieve and maintain inventory accuracy objectives.
- Conduct physical inventories, reconciliation, and lead cycle counts.
- Analyze and correct cycle count discrepancies.
- Conduct root cause analysis, implement corrective actions, monitor & report results.
- Coach, mentor, develop and cross train team members to meet current and future resource requirements. Actively develop teams’ capabilities and career development.
- Maintain compliance with labor agreement, company policies, safety standards, and good housekeeping practices.
- Ability to effectively communicate throughout the organization to promote a positive professional, engaged work environment.
- Strict adherence to ISO Quality System. Timely resolution of improvement opportunities, corrective actions, and monitor the effectiveness of actions.
- Provide and implement recommendations for inventory control process improvement.
- Coordinate daily stockroom meetings.
- Attend and actively participate in staff meetings, supervisory meetings and safety meetings.
- Compliance with safety standards. Actively solicit ideas and take timely action.
- KPIs include picked on time, picked complete, inventory accuracy, workforce flexibility, inventory adjustments, department productivity, and other relevant measurements.
- Manage freight truck, freight truck drivers and associated DOT documentation.
- Plan and implement overall shipping strategy.
- Oversee the whole shipping process – packaging and labeling to high, professional standards.
- Set logistics KPIs and present KPI reports to interested parties.
- Drive the implementation of process optimization.
- Supervise and oversee shipping team members.
- Negotiate pricing and continually manage costs.
- Create/maintain work instructions and necessary standards.
- Oversee janitorial duties in all Chippewa Falls facilities.
- Continually monitor and manage costs in areas of responsibility.

Requirements:Qualifications:
- Bachelor or Associate degree in related field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 2 years Inventory Management or Supervisory experience.
- 2 years minimum shipping experience, domestic and overseas.
- Demonstrated strong knowledge and success with Lean Manufacturing. Six Sigma knowledge is beneficial.
- Strong problem-solving skills and organizational skills and high attention to detail.
- Must be competent with MS Office applications and ERP systems.
- Well organized and ability to multitask efficiently and adapt within a rapidly changing environment.
- Must have excellent interpersonal and communications skills, both verbal and written, to interact with people at all levels and functions.
- Physical ability to work in production environment with frequent bending, standing, stooping, walking, reaching, climbing and lifting as required.
