Excite Pharma Services is a Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) providing analytical & manufacturing services to pharmaceutical clients in support of new drug development and technical transfer of existing pharmaceuticals, both human and animal.
Primary Responsibilities
Excite Pharma is searching for an experienced and proven leader to manage the operations of our manufacturing site. Excite is fast growing and the Vice President of Manufacturing will have authority and responsibility to ensure the effective, productive, and safe operations of the entire manufacturing site.

Specific responsibilities
· Responsible for executing on project timelines and achieving target productivity and profitability metrics at their site.
· Determine and execute staffing plans by ensuring needs are being met with high quality hires, training, developing, and mentoring of your staff
· Scheduling all production activities at manufacturing site
· Coordinate and schedule materials availability for use in manufacturing
· Ensure equipment, facilities and all personnel are operating per SOPs
· Collaborate with and communicate to all relevant constituents daily for all matters related to the site
· Report on site metrics to Company leadership on regular intervals (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly)
· Act as “utility player” for site by performing staff duties when needed
· Lead and mentor team leads, and staff
· Oversight and management of site employees
· Other duties as required by the Company
Background and Requirements
· Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, or Business Administration: MBA a strong plus
· 10+ years of experience in aseptic manufacturing or other cGMP environments
· Progressive career path with proven track record of managing site operations or 10+ person teams
· Ability and willingness to work onsite daily at the facility
