This is a full-time temporary basic year faculty contract position for Fall 24 - Spring 25. Key job responsibilities include: (1) works with students to help navigate HCC systems (Hawk GPA, Canvas, MyHCC, etc.), (2) help students understand timelines for Late Drop/Late Withdrawal petitions, (3) understand Colleague, Workday, E-Trieve student forms screens, (4) understand student transcript to help student map a course pathway to completion, (5) understand degree pathways (6) connect students to needed resources (on & off-campus) and make referrals as appropriate (7) understand overall student goals and aid in helping htem achieve desired outcomes. To be considered, applicants must have been awarded the qualifying graduate degree and graduate semester hours by August 2014. Applicants with a qualifying degree from an educational institution outside the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom must attach a foreign credential evaluation to their application from one of the members of the National Association of Credential Evaluations Services (website: www.naces.org).

Salary:
Effective 8/15/2024. A faculty member shall be assigned to the appropriate salary grade based on the contract with the faculty union. The entry levels are:
(Grade III) Bachelor’s degree plus college faculty experience $48,073.36.
(Grade II) Master’s degree with 18 graduate semester hours in the field $50,421.94.
(Grade II+) Master’s degree plus 30 graduate semester hours in the field $53,004.11.
(Grade I) an earned Doctorate in the field $55,587.43.
