Manage the personal finances on behalf of a disabled person as a Social Security Administration Representative Payee/VA Fiduciary and make a difference in the lives of others.
Follow all Social Security Administrative/VA audit requirements.
Meet with individuals receiving disability benefits to set up a budget.
Pay bills and negotiate with creditors.
Ensure all bills are paid on behalf of the recipient and determine all basic needs are being met.
Maintain all required financial record keeping.
Proficient in Microsoft office and QuickBooks.
Able to develop relationships with community members, social service agencies and businesses.
Must have ability to work with a diverse population and set boundaries.
Must pass criminal background check.
