Who we are:
Oasis Day Club, LLC is a day program serving adults with developmental disabilities. We are dedicated to ensuring our members have the best possible experience while they are here. We foster an environment that allows members to build social skills, develop relationships, experience community activities, and continue to grow their independent living skills in order to be successful on their own. We offer a variety of activities such as community exploration, crafts, fitness classes, sport games, book club, social interactions, science experiments, cooking lessons, and much more. We also currently offer Zoom 3 days per week so that those at home are still able to participate. Our members are our focus and we strive to provide them every opportunity to discover what is important to and for them.
As the Executive Team Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of member specialists to ensure the facility runs smoothly on a day to day basis. You will be expected to do minor work in assisting the Director of the company, such as making sure member files are secure and organized, overseeing documentation at the facility and ensuring it is completed on time and organized, and other such small tasks. You will be responsible in driving members to and from the club on the company shuttles. You will make sure your team follows the calendar of activities and is prepared for the activities that will be happening that day. You will ensure all materials are available and have communicated with the Director if something is needed. You will work with the Director in order to ensure that the facility is prepared for their day, cleaning is being completed, shuttles are being cared for and maintained (and notice is given if an issue occurs). You must be confident in handling any situation that arises and passing on incident reports to the Director. These expectations are not all encompassing and others will be added as needed. It is an ever changing field and we must adapt to any new rule passed by the Board of Developmental Disabilities.
Qualities you must possess as an Executive Team Lead: You MUST be a leader and be able to guide a team of member specialists daily. You should be creative and able to adapt to any changes and adapt to a new schedule with little notice. You must be confident in your skill set and able to share it with others. You MUST be willing to put the needs of the members above your own and want to ensure our members have the best day possible. You should be patient and understanding with both members and staff. Detail oriented is essential. This is not a desk job and while you will do some minor office work, the majority of your time will be spent on the floor with the member specialists, working hands on with the members and interacting and engaging daily. Having energy is essential!
