Software Integration Manager
This is an in-office position based in Norfolk, VA.
Yellow Dog has one core inventory product with 100+ 3rd party software integrations... point-of-sale, electronic invoicing, accounting, etc. We are seeking an experienced manager/leader for our integrations deployment team (currently 5 specialists) tasked with configuring and installing these integrations. This role will provide leadership, focus and team accountability for client success.
The primary duties of this position involve leading people, developing processes, establishing order, and ultimately creating great customer experiences for new YD clients.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Manage, develop, and improve deployment processes
- Establish proof-of-success accountability
- Direct day-to-day team activities & meetings
- Assign tasks, establish and meet expectations and milestones
- Proactively collaborate with other YD departments: Product Development, Sales, Implementation and Client Services
- Provide scheduled and on-demand status reports and updates
- Assess, manage, resolve and escalate (when necessary) risks and issues
- Tailor processes to meet the needs of individual projects
Preferred Qualifications:
- A history of demonstrable project management success
- Strong organizational, planning and time management skills
- Eagerness to take ownership with positive, upbeat personality
- Excellent communication & teaching skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Zoho, Base Camp or similar tools
- Ability to think independently and demonstrate good judgment
- Collaborative, forward movement mindset
- Clear ability to effectively manage and lead teams
- Some coding experience
