Registered Dietitian – $10K Sign On Bonus available for eligible new hire
Full Time - Day Shift
The Registered Dietitian is responsible for providing clinical nutrition services, including screening, assessment, intervention, self-management training and/or education to provide high quality nutrition care to patients and clients. Ensures documentation complies with regulatory agency standards, assists with patient satisfaction and promotes positive relations with all our customers.
Job Description:
- Responsible for documenting complete nutrition assessments in the medical record.
- Follows through on meeting nutritional needs of patients through screening, supplements/nourishments, preferences, counseling, follow-up, etc.
- Develops and revises a nutrition care plan based on information from the patient, medical record, family, and health care team members.
- Counsels inpatients and outpatients on modified diets as ordered or requested
- Assists Food and Nutrition staff with diet patterns, nourishments, preferences, and any diet related questions or needs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree from a recognized accredited University or College approved by the Accreditation Council for Education and Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) or the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics
- Current registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or registry eligible (must obtain within 6 months of hire)
- Licensed Dietitian in the state of practice (must obtain within 3 months of hire or within 3 months after obtaining credentials)
