THE JOB:
CATCH will bring epic renditions of Asian-influenced sushi, seafood and steak in a high-volume, fine dining restaurant renowned sharable style food, and personable dining experience. We are seeking an experienced Executive Sous Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in fine dining, a passion for creative cuisine, and a dedication to delivering exceptional dining experiences. As an Executive Sous Chef, you will play a critical role in maintaining our high standards of culinary excellence and operational efficiency.
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
- Guest Interaction and Service Excellence: Engage with guests to ensure their satisfaction and enjoyment of their dining experience.
- Product Knowledge and Expertise: Maintain extensive knowledge of the venue’s food and beverage products, menu items, and equipment used in the kitchen.
- Daily Operations and Fiscal Management: Lead and oversee daily kitchen operations, including fiscal budgets, labor productivity, scheduling, inventory control, and guest service standards.
- Policy and Procedure Execution: Implement and oversee policies, operating procedures, training programs, directives, menus, and regulations for the restaurant staff.
- Compliance and Training: Ensure completion of all company compliance training by the restaurant staff.
WHAT YOU MUST HAVE:
- Bachelor's degree or 4 years of equivalent work experience
- 2 years of prior relevant experience as a Culinary Leader or Executive Sous Chef

- Proven experience as an Executive Sous Chef or similar role in a high-volume, fine-dining restaurant.
- A strong background in fine dining with a deep understanding of high-end culinary techniques and presentation.
- Demonstrated long-term commitment and success in executive sous chef or similar leadership positions, highlighting stability and expertise.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
