POSITION OPPORTUNITY
The Customer Relationship Specialist is responsible for partnering with and supporting the Field Inside Sales Team. This person will coordinate the Prequalification process, Non-Disclosure Agreements and Certification of Insurance for the Field Inside Sales Team, be the liaison between the necessary Corporate Support teams, maintain the supporting Prequal documentation in SharePoint, assist in Prequal protocol development, support the Field Inside Sales team, provide territory coverage during absence (i.e., vacation, leave of absence, sick leave, etc.), update CRM to reflect all current Prequalification communications with clients, receive incoming calls and ensures a great customer experience. Additionally, the Customer Relationship Specialist will ensure that all sales records in the database are properly maintained and updated.
Essential Duties / Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Field Inside Sales to complete requested Prequalification documents from customers required to perform our services
- Update CRM to reflect Prequalification status, all current communications (calls, email, texts, etc..) with clients and Corporate Support Teams for Prequal completion
- Access to help maintain Prequalification requirement needs in client portals and national portals with the guidance of the appropriate Corporate Support Teams
- Fully trained in CRM and current Sales protocols to provide support the Field Inside Sales Team
- Receives incoming calls and ensures a great customer experience when supporting territory during a Field Inside Sales Team members absence
- Maintaining CRM database by navigating deal stages, handoffs, and follow-ups during support coverage
- Fully cultivate sales opportunities through the Sales Process protocols during support coverage
- Overall support for the Field Inside Sales Team
- Monthly: Actively participate in Field Inside Sales Team and Location team meetings
- Assist to Schedule, coordinate, and attend ongoing training and development meetings with the Field Inside Sales team
- Analyze and implement projects in compliance with U.S. Export Control Laws
Qualifications
Education/Training/Certifications: Must have a high school diploma. Prefer some college, preferably in business or technical field. Individual must possess excellent presentation/communication skills and the ability to work under minimal or no supervision. Being mechanically inclined, in order to read and understand mechanical drawings, is a plus.
Related Experience: Have a successful and quantifiable track record (2-4 years) in a quota-driven sales environment. A knack for prospecting and selling technical services and familiar with the pharmaceutical or water systems industries is a plus.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent computer skills using CRM database, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Effective communication skills in both verbal and written (training / presentations /report writing).
- Ability to interact at all levels of company and with people of various backgrounds and experience.
- Sales-driven, self-motivated, energetic, persuasive, organized, independent, with an entrepreneurial spirit.
- Must possess the ability to learn our service offering, systems we process, and the impact chemistry has on metals.
- Legal capacity to comply with federally mandated requirements of the U.S. Export Control Laws
Travel: Must be willing and able to travel overnight by land and/or air up to 10% of the time
