POSITION SUMMARY
The Executive Director is responsible for all healthcare services at Eating Disorder Solutions. The Executive Director ensures that departments are integrated into the overall strategic goals of the organization, and support Eating Disorder Solution's mission of patient care.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Collaborate with Chief Medical Officer (CMO) to integrate all clinical programs, services, protocols, etc. Ensure all medical protocols are compliant with State and Joint Commission requirements. Meet with facility Medical Director on monthly basis to evaluate performance
- Work closely with respective Officers on issues related to treatment, business development, clinical productivity, compliance, contract management, revenue enhancement, capital and operating budgets including departmental service line budget development, variance analysis, and expense monitoring, etc.
- Explore new business opportunities and service offerings across facilities
- Assist with the development and oversight of the annual budgets and collaborates with finance and operation leaders in the management of budget performance
- Regularly advocate and participate in outreach activities for NBH, DPR, and any other entities associated with the Company
- Assist with analyzing trends impacting volume, revenues, and expenses. Makes recommendations to allow for DPR's continued success
- Establish revenue and expense targets, and work with CFO to maintain budget
- Maintain ownership of expenses, profits, losses, and ensure financial viability
- Lead capital expenditure and improvement initiatives across multiple sites
- Develop and provide objective criteria for measuring existing and new business opportunities
- Ensure a transparent and conscious awareness of issues that need to be escalated and takes ownership of notifying all key stakeholders of those issues
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the changing healthcare environment and evaluate the market need for specific clinical services or programs
- Acts as an advocate aware of system resources to develop relationships and opportunities with internal and external parties
- Partners with Human Resources and Recruitment regarding talent acquisition, development, retention, across DPR
- As needed, act as a representative of DPR in all legal matters
- In consultation with and incorporating input from clinical leaders, physicians, and staff, conceives, plans and executes proactive strategic initiatives that enable DPR to continuously improve patient satisfaction.
- Responsible for state licensure inspections, compliance matters, and maintaining Joint Commission accreditation
- Participates in marketing and outreach initiatives within the State of Texas, developing marketing campaigns, implementing programs, and reporting on measured results.
- Identifies and oversees clinical issues as well as areas for quality improvement
- Provides medical, clinical, and operational oversight for Eating Disorder Solutions, and serves in an executive role
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- 7-10 years of operational leadership experience within a behavioral healthcare setting. Bachelor' s degree required; Master’s preferred
- Maintain a thorough understanding of clinical reimbursement, federal and state regulations
- Identifies opportunities to optimize clinical reimbursement and implements new policies and procedures as necessary
- Responds timely to requests for information
- Acts as the initial point of contact for all EDS's requests across all designated NBH entities.
- May also hold project/program responsibilities outside the treatment facility that establishes Niznik Behavioral Health as an organization of excellence.

Pay: $115,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
