Job Description
Responsible for project management activities of CIO’s Transformation Office and centralizing reporting of all technology and revenue cycle management projects. This role will have a strong focus on all business transformation initiatives. Partners with CIO and leadership to develop a Transformation Office using EPMO tools and templates. Works with other department project managers to centralize reporting of all phases of projects; reports challenges, successes, and status updates to upper leadership. Management methods and best practices to align resources, overcome challenges and hit target dates.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Manages multiple initiatives with ease

Aggregate and present Technology and Revenue Cycle Management project status

Project manage initiatives of the CIO
-
Responsible for all phases of a project (initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, close)

Keeps all project stakeholders informed of status, challenges, etc.

Maintains project documentation and notes
-
Implement project management web-based reporting for stakeholder status reporting
-
Facilitates communication across groups and collaborates to remove barriers and achieve desired results

Participate in current and future state process mapping and process improvement documentation and communicate with all constituents
-
Assists in development and documentation of functional requirements for projects.

Manage user acceptance testing with business users to ensure solution meets the business requirements.

Provide input to effective change management, training requirements, and rollout plans to business and end users.

Coordinate internal and external resources in addressing requirements, training, and enhancements
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Strong project planning, estimation, and management skills

Experience working within a technology department, particularly a CIO

Scrum and agile project management knowledge

Project estimation and planning abilities

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
-
BA/BS degree.
-
Experience working within a technology department, reporting to the CIO a plus
-
Experience working with Healthcare Revenue Cycle projects a plus
-
5+ Years of project management experience
-
PMP Certification preferred
-
5+ years of healthcare experience
-
Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and basic Project Management tools

Previous experience with transformation and process improvement methods preferred

Experience working with third-party vendors

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for prolonged periods and occasionally walk, stand, bend, stoop, and lift up to 15 pounds.

Required to have close visual acuity to perform the job.
Salary Range:
$103,887.00 - $192,191.00
Salary may be determined on several factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills, experience, education, geographical location and requirements stated in job description.
