Millimeter Wave Products, Inc. (Mi-Wave) has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Electro-Mechanical / PCB Assembler. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of microelectronics assembly and an acute eye for detail / quality.
Job duties include:
- Solder SMT and through hole electronic components
- Identify electronic components. Read and understand assembly drawings
- Assemble and label components, assemblies, and subassemblies per specifications
- Follow work orders, blueprints, and specifications to determine established assembly methods
- Assemble electro-mechanical assemblies to include cables and wire harnesses
- Assist with wave soldering and in second assembly as required.
- The ability to use numerous types of equipment and assembly tools, including microscopes, soldering irons, tweezers, calipers, picks, scalpels, hot plates, epoxies, etc.
- Responsible for the visual inspection of their own assembly work
- Practiced ESD, FOD, and safety regulations according to company policy.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Must be organized and detail oriented, with the ability to work independently, under minimal supervision.

Circuit Board Assembler requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
- Experience with soldering and other assembly processes
- Prior experience in circuit board assembly
- Must be able to sit at a microscope for extended periods.
- Must be able to work closely with designers, engineers and technicians.
- Knowledge of testing and troubleshooting electronic components a plus

As such, we are looking for an accuracy-first type of mindset in who we hire for any position.
Regular work hours are roughly 8:30 am to 4:30 pm with flexibility for the right candidate.
Compensation is based entirely on experience and capability.
