Lead Installer
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems
- Inspect HVAC systems and their components to ensure they are in proper working condition
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with HVAC systems and make necessary repairs
- Perform regular maintenance tasks such as cleaning coils, replacing filters, and lubricating parts
- Test HVAC systems for proper functioning and efficiency
- Follow blueprints, design specifications, and manufacturer instructions when installing or repairing HVAC systems Use a variety of tools and equipment such as wrenches, gauges, soldering torches, and vacuum pumps
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used
Qualifications
- Certification or license as an HVAC technician
- Proven experience in the HVAC field
- Strong knowledge of heating and cooling systems, including their components and functions
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints
- Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting HVAC system issues
- Familiarity with electrical systems and ability to perform basic electrical work related to HVAC systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and explain technical information
- High school diploma or equivalent

The HVAC Lead Installer position requires a skilled professional with expertise in refrigeration, HVAC, construction, service technician experience, schematics, HVAC design, plumbing, mechanical knowledge, field service, appliance repair, property maintenance, air conditioning, van driving, ammonia refrigeration, HVAC/R, equipment repair, and welding. The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma or GED, strong communication skills, and knowledge of electrical systems. This role involves leading installation projects, coordinating with team members, and ensuring high-quality workmanship in HVAC systems. The HVAC Lead Installer will report to the project manager and play a crucial role in the successful completion of projects.
