Duties:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and curriculum
- Provide instruction in various subjects, including math, language arts, science, and social studies
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and growth
- Utilize effective classroom management techniques to maintain a positive and productive learning atmosphere
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents/guardians
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive educational experience for students
- Utilize technology and other resources to enhance instruction and engage students
- Provide individualized support to students with special education needs or learning difficulties
- Encourage creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills in students
- Foster a love of reading through library services and storytelling activities
Skills:
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents/guardians, and colleagues
- Experience working with young children in an educational setting
- Knowledge of classroom management techniques to create an organized and structured learning environment
- Ability to provide tutoring or additional support to students as needed
- Proficient in proofreading student work for grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors
- Familiarity with math concepts taught at the kindergarten level
- Experience mentoring or guiding children in their personal development
