Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide quality dental care to patients while ensuring their comfort and satisfaction.
Duties:
- Conduct dental examinations, diagnoses, and treatment plans for patients
- Perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, root canals, and crowns
- Educate patients on oral health care and preventive measures
- Maintain patient records accurately and securely
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to provide comprehensive dental services
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in dentistry and best practices
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school
- State licensure to practice dentistry
- Proficiency in pediatric dentistry is preferred
- Experience with Dentrix or other dental practice management software
- Knowledge of CAD/CAM technology for dental restorations is a plus
- Familiarity with Epic or other electronic health record systems
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and medical coding standards
- Strong background in dental office procedures and protocols
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
- Ability to maintain accurate medical documentation
