Medical Records Duties:
- Organize and maintain medical records.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of medical records
- Create and update files with relevant information
- Retrieve and file medical records as needed
- Assist with record requests from healthcare providers and patients
- Follow proper procedures for record storage, retention, and disposal
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate documentation
Central Supply Coordinator Duties:
1. Be responsible for collecting data on the amount of supplies needed from the facilityemployees as directed.
2. Identify type and amount of each item to be stocked within the facility ordering processes. 3. Maintain supplies in a neat, clean and organized manner
4. Follow instructions for proper storage of supplies.
5. Receive, review and have requisitions approved before ordering.
6. Keep accurate, organized records of the type and amount of supplies received.
7. Receive incoming supplies and verify with original purchase order.
8. Send invoices to business office promptly for payment.
9. Report all problems with ordering and obtaining supplies promptly to administration.
10. Ensure transcription of clear and accurate supply orders.
11. Follow verbal and written instructions as provided.
12. Observe infection control procedures.
13. Follow Residents' Rights policies at all times.
14. Adhere to all facility policies & procedures and ensure they are adhered to by all responsible parties and carry out disciplinary action for non-compliance as appropriate.
15. Ensure adherence to the Corporate Integrity Program and the Performance Expectations at all times.
16. Perform other related duties as directed by the Administrator and/or person of authority.
Note: Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
