Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop behavior intervention plans for individuals with developmental disabilities
- Implement behavior analytic interventions and strategies to promote positive behavior change
- Collect and analyze data to monitor progress and make data-based decisions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans
- Provide training and support to caregivers, educators, and other professionals
- Stay up-to-date with current research and best practices in the field of applied behavior analysis
- Adhere to ethical guidelines and maintain client confidentiality
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques
- Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and interpretation
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to behavioral health
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, preferably in a clinical or educational setting
- Ability to provide patient-centered care and adapt interventions based on individual needs
- Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and strategies
- Understanding of special education laws and regulations, including IDEA
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain client confidentiality
Qualifications:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required
- Experience working with children with developmental disabilities preferred
