Trinity Lutheran Church in Waupaca, Wisconsin is seeking a skilled Office Administrator to join our team.
This is a full-time salaried position. This position has an extremely flexible schedule - with start and stop times set to accommodate candidates needs. Physical presence in the office to ensure that leadership needs are met is expected to be around 30 hours. Friday's are flexible and most weeks only 4 days of work are needed. Total expected hours per week is 36-40 on average. Evening meeting attendance is needed and expected to be 2 evenings per month.
The ideal candidate will have the experience necessary to lead and manage the business and financial operations of the church.
Responsibilities:
Provide overall management for the day-to-day operations of the church. This may include:
-Preparing appropriate financial reports for staff, committees, and associated organizations as needed and in a timely manner.
-Process payroll for staff members and pastors.
-Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
-Process and record congregation offerings and donations
-Providing financial oversight in partnership with the Treasurer.
-Working with the Treasurer and Finance Committee to streamline financial processes.
-Communicate and collaborate with committees and church bodies in these capacities:
-Active member of several church teams to provide leadership and insight.
-Advisor to the Executive Committee and Church Council to assist in answering financial and HR-related questions.
-Collaborate with the Personnel Committee to address HR issues.
-Directly supervise administrative and custodial staff.
-Assist in community outreach efforts
-Collaborate with IT professionals to keep computers, software, and other technology up to date.
Requirements:
- Degree in business, public administration, finance, or related equivalent experience
-Proven experience in supervising administrative roles
-Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
-Excellent understanding of Microsoft 365 products, QuickBooks accounting software, database software, and internet-based tools
-Ability to prioritize, multitask, and display good time-management skills in a fast-paced environment
- Availability to attend meetings outside normal business hours (expected 2 times per month)
-Maintain discretion and confidentiality while working with sensitive information
-Ability to manage conflict

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
