**Job Summary:**
As a Body Technician at Michael J's Collision, you will play a pivotal role in the repair process, ensuring that vehicles are restored to their pre-accident condition. Your responsibilities will encompass various aspects of the repair process, from dent removal to structural repairs. The ability to work collaboratively within a team, make sound decisions, and consistently deliver top-notch work is crucial for success in this role.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Collaborate effectively with other team members to facilitate efficient repair operations.
- Assess and repair damaged vehicle bodies, frames, and structural components.
- Remove dents, weld, and align panels to meet repair specifications.
- Make informed decisions regarding the best repair methods and techniques.
- Maintain a keen focus on detail, ensuring all work meets high-quality standards.
- Operate equipment and tools in a safe and efficient manner.
- Keep an organized and clean workspace, following safety protocols.
- Communicate and coordinate with colleagues and management on repair progress.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
**Qualifications:**
- Proven experience as a Body Technician in the automotive repair industry.
- Exceptional team player with strong collaboration skills.
- Strong decision-making abilities.
- A commitment to delivering high-quality work with attention to detail.
- Efficient and effective work methods.
- Knowledge of industry-standard repair techniques and equipment.
- Certification in automotive collision repair is a plus.
- A valid driver's license.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $28.00 per hour
