Associate Attorney – Employment
Impact:
As our Associate Attorney in our Employment Litigation department, you will work to help scale the firm’s employment practice, to service the ever-growing number of Californians who have been illegally discriminated against, harassed, unfairly compensated, subjected to a unfair hostile work environment and/or wrongfully terminated.
Daily Tasks:
- Management of cases from pre-litigation through settlement, with the support of a strong staff and advanced automated systems that optimize case efficiency (including CompuLaw, NetDocuments, Clio, and others)
- Deposition experience strongly preferred.
- Excellent research and writing skills required
- Draft correspondence and regularly communicate with clients, experts, and defense counsel
- Prioritize and complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
- Bring a team-oriented and positive attitude to our Los Angeles office.
Your Skills:
- At least 4 years of experience in employment litigation.
- Knowledge of California Civil Procedure and Local Court Rules.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Superior time management and multi-tasking skills.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and a self-starter.
- Experience with employment disputes including wrongful terminations, FEHA claims, labor code violations, PAGA and wage and hour claims.

Pay: $150,000.00 - $230,000.00 per year
