Position Summary:
This role will be primarily focused on analytics and data mining that measures loss specific to operating departments within the store, as well as analytics and reporting focused to address and implement corrective actions related to Operational processes. Identify best practices, training/procedural issues and solutions that support visibility & actionability to help deter theft and support shrink initiatives.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Analyze drivers of store loss and develop reporting, insights, and updates to support the development and execution of corrective plans.
- Responsible for assigned areas of regular weekly and period reporting. Work on simplifying report format and delivery to ensure they meet store and Brand needs.

Provide quality oversight validation for theft detection and in support of shrink initiatives.

Perform analysis and research to look at operational processes for background information, possible benchmarks and areas of opportunity to simplify and align with business needs.

Conduct in-depth analysis of weekly, period, and year-to-date reporting related but not limit to inventory, including Know Loss Tracking (KLT), focus stores, shrink tracker, and stores book levels report, and warehouse/sample/swell credits and charges.

Develop patterns to identify shrink opportunities within Profitect and follow up on exception reporting.

Review of Markdown tool utilization for accuracy and KLT utilization.

Develop and analyze Receiving Operations weekly reporting including NEX Open Invoice, NEX Audit Accuracy, Receiving Assessment Completion, and DSD Discrepancy Reports.

Assist the AP leadership team in development of presentations, summary documents and updates for executive leadership, merchandising, supply chain, finance and operations to support shrink awareness and driving the operate for less strategy.
- Partner with Store Operations teams to identify and investigate associate and customer behaviors impacting shrink, loss, and/or sales reducing activity, and support identification of root causes and potential preventative solutions.
- Enhance all forms of shrink & investigative analytics (transaction monitoring, risk analysis, predictive modeling, and exception based reporting) Assist Leadership with nonstandard requests and ad hoc analysis

Support consolidated management and performance reporting across the department.
- Perform analysis and reporting from an operational perspective to support business needs and goals on a period and ad hoc basis.
- Assist with validation of metrics and tracking of performance to goals.
- Identify best practices, training, procedural issues, and solutions (including technology), that support visibility/actionability to prevent loss.

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Skills and Abilities
- Experience developing executive level presentations and comfortable presenting to an executive audience.

Experience working with large data sets and deriving actionable insights and recommendations, including those that have a financial impact.

Intermediate Excel and PowerPoint.
