Must possess 1st class stationary engineering license (city of buffalo or equivalent )
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain stationary engines and mechanical equipment in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on boilers, HVAC systems, hydraulics, and other equipment
- Monitor and adjust controls to ensure optimal performance of machinery
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues using schematics and technical manuals
- Conduct regular preventive maintenance to ensure equipment longevity
- Collaborate with other team members to coordinate repairs and maintenance activities
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to equipment-related inquiries and resolving issues promptly
Requirements:
- Proven experience in industrial maintenance, including working with boilers, HVAC systems, hydraulics, and other mechanical equipment
- Strong knowledge of field service techniques and best practices
- Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics and technical manuals
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues efficiently
- HVAC/R certification is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of industrial mechanics is a plus
