Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Test Technician to join our team. The Test Technician will be responsible for conducting various tests on products to ensure quality and reliability. You will also perform production testing on all types of systems and sub-assemblies prior to shipment to the customer.
Duties:
- Perform data collection and analysis on test results
- Utilize surface mount technology for testing purpose
- Diagnoses defective systems to the module level.
- Reviews and authorizes Test Reports from other testers
- Performs production testing of Company products according to test procedures to factory specifications. Generates electronic standard test reports.
- Verify systems are correctly built and configured to customer order/settings.
- Use micrometers and precision measuring instruments to assess product dimensions
- Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and diagnose issues
- Conduct quality control and quality assurance checks on tested products
- Utilize calipers and hand tools for precise measurements
Requirements:
-Thorough knowledge of basic electrical circuits including analog circuits, power electronics, digital and microcontroller-based systems.
- Proficiency in data collection techniques
- Experience with surface mount technology
- Ability to use micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments
- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and analysis
- Strong understanding of quality control and quality assurance processes
- Ability to pull diagrams and wiring schematics from IFS and understand electrical wiring and protection in heavy AC/DC power environments.
Education: Associate’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology or related discipline or equivalent required.
Job Experience:
· Two to four years of previous electronics test experience is required.
