Verify and update patient demographics, insurance details, and required documentation.

Aid in setting up efficient payment arrangements and ensuring payments are made on time.

Promptly handle collection and management of self-pay accounts.

Enhance reimbursement outcomes by addressing account concerns and confirming insurance eligibility.

Monitor and oversee the status of insurance claims.

Maintain accurate documentation of collection activities.
-
Provide recommendations and oversee processes for account adjustments.

Escalate issues promptly to the Business Office Manager.

Perform designated clerical duties while adhering to organizational policies.

Attend mandatory training sessions and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

Uphold confidentiality and uphold professional standards.
Your Experience Matters What we’re looking for:
Education & Licensure (if applicable): High school graduate, or equivalent preferred.-
Experience: A minimum of one (1) years’ experience in admission processes and collections procedures, and a working knowledge of managed care; interpretation of insurance coverage plans, co-payments and deductible schedules and payment plans; and a working knowledge of computers and business software programs (Excel) preferred.

Additional Skill Requirements: May be required to work occasional overtime and flexible hours.

Compensation:
This is a full-time role and the starting salary is $25.00 per hour. We’re eager to engage with all qualified candidates, and consideration will be provided to experience and skill level. Join us as our Financial Counselor!
