Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, (“the Company”), the VP of Finance (“COO”) is charged with leading all financial operations and risk management activities of the company. The successful candidate will be a hands-on leader with a proven track record of success in financial management and strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
Financial Strategy:
- Develop and implement financial strategies and plans to support the company's growth objectives.
- Provide strategic guidance to the executive team on financial matters, including capital allocation, investment decisions, and risk management.
Financial Planning and Analysis:
- Oversee the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and financial projections.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify opportunities for cost savings, revenue enhancement, and operational improvement.
- Monitor financial performance against key performance indicators and provide regular reports to senior management.
- Experience and success utilizing data analytics to drive performance.
Financial Reporting and Compliance:
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with GAAP, regulatory and tax requirements.
- Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risks.
- Coordinate audits and examinations by external auditors, tax authorities, banking relationships and regulatory agencies.
Treasury and Cash Management:
- Manage the company's cash flow, liquidity, and working capital to support day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives.
- Oversee banking relationships, including cash management services, lines of credit, and debt financing arrangements.
- Experience managing asset based lines of credit as well as structuring financings or refinancing of debt.
Risk Management:
- Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks facing the company, including credit risk, market risk, and operational risk.
- Develop and implement risk management strategies and policies to protect the company's financial interests.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Build and lead a high-performing finance team, providing mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities.

- Provide coaching and mentorship to direct reports and empower them to reach their full potential.
The Candidate will have/will be:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership position.
- Wholesale distribution experience in tire or auto parts, preferred.
- Experience working with overseas supply chains and freight.
- Strong understanding of financial principles, practices, and regulations, with a demonstrated ability to apply them in a business context.
- Proven track record of success in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and financial reporting.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Hands-on approach with a willingness to dive into details and work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve results.
- An analytical manager with the capability to identify actionable data and analysis in a data intensive business context.
- Experience working with international financial and accounting support teams.
- Prepared to locate in Los Angeles or Orange County, CA and work in the headquarters/warehouse location in Pomona, CA.

Pay: $96,606.03 - $116,342.75 per year
