Responsibilities:
- Assist the Store Manager in daily operations and management of the store
- Oversee and manage stock levels, ensuring inventory is well-stocked and organized
- Provide excellent customer service, assisting customers with inquiries, purchases, and returns
- Train and supervise store staff, ensuring they are knowledgeable about products and providing exceptional service
- Handle cash transactions and ensure accurate cash handling procedures are followed
- Assist in payroll management and scheduling of staff shifts
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop and implement strategies to drive sales and meet targets
- Assist in buying decisions, including pricing and merchandising strategies
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Previous experience in retail management or as an Assistant Store Manager preferred
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Proficient in cash handling procedures and basic math skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers, staff, and management
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in phone etiquette and handling customer inquiries over the phone
- Multilingual abilities are a plus
