About the Role:
- Position: Independent Sales Rep
- Type: Independent Contractor
- Location: California (multiple territories)
- Compensation: 10% commission, paid biweekly
What You'll Do:
- Utilize your existing network of buyers and contacts within the licensed California cannabis network to promote and sell Alpine products
- Generate leads through professional contacts, prospecting, and cold-calling
- Drive brand awareness and lead generation via networking, demos, and promotions
- Learn Alpine product features and benefits
- Meet with management regularly to receive brand updates and discuss sales
- Present management with insights and opportunities to grow sales.
- Operate G-suite, slack, and ERP software
- Assist with Accounts Receivables, ensuring timely payment collection from all orders
- Maintain knowledge of market dynamics, customer business issues, and competition
- Stay connected by attending networking and educational events
- Keep up to date on cannabis news and legislation
- Meet or exceed sales compensation plan quotas

Who You Are:
- 1-5 years of outside sales experience in the California cannabis industry
- Strong network of contacts within the industry
- Currently represent other top selling cannabis brands? No problem
- Self-motivated and driven
- Trained in sales methodologies, forecasting, and planning
- Willing to travel significantly to client dispensaries
- Excellent professional presence and business acumen
- Metrics-driven and accountable
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- 2 years of cannabis sales experience (required)
- 2 years of general sales experience (required)
- Valid Driver's License (required)
