This position for a three day/week office Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Duties:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
- Take dental x-rays
- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment
- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following dental procedures
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments, chart treatment, write notes
- Manage patient records, including updating dental documentation and coding
Experience:
- Previous experience as a dental assistant
- Knowledge of dental coding and documentation practices
- Experience working with patients
- Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) system
As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting the dentist during dental procedures and providing quality care to patients.
